"I believe that the good instruction I received from my Veritas teachers has enabled me to reasonably and clearly translate complex scientific topics into coherent, well-structured summaries. My study of Latin has also been vastly helpful! Medical or scientific terminology can often be reduced to it Latin roots - making understanding and memory work so much easier! So, when asked how my Veritas education has helped me in my degree and summer research, I would say it is the foundation for every success I experienced in college."

"Veritas taught me to think clearly, work diligently, and see Christ in all things. I found that the simple idea of Humane Letters greatly impacted the way I thought. Because I saw my studies in history, religion, English, and philosophy so inextricably tied, I found that I was very well prepared in college to continue making connections between various courses I took. Once human history made sense as a connected story, it stood in need of an author, and Veritas taught me to acknowledge the authorship of God, revealing himself to me in all my studies. That's how Veritas made me a better student at college and a better person for all eternity."

"When thinking back over my time at Veritas, I am thankful for so many things. The classical education structure so perfectly balances learning and personal discovery. It is one thing to simply receive knowledge and quite another to be challenged to engage with it. Veritas does a tremendous job of shaping how you think, not simply what you think. Veritas recognizes that all change, all formation, begins in the heart. One's mind will nearly always setlle on that which one loves. We are what we love, more than what we think. Veritas so beautifully interweaves foundational, spiritual rhythms throughout every activity, because it recognizes that God is the true agents in the formation of the soul. I cannot fully express my thanks for the teachings I received and the transformation I experienced during high school at Veritas."
