We uphold all of our prospective families, those known and unknown, in our prayers! Thank you for your interest in our classical, Christ-centered education, and thank you for your intention and prayer as you consider if Veritas is the right academic home for your family.
The formation of hearts and minds of students is fundamentally a partnership. Veritas must be a good fit for prospective families, and the parents and students seeking enrollment at Veritas must be a good fit for our school. Our admissions process exists to help both Veritas and the families seeking enrollment discern if a partnership exists for the type of education we offer.
Together, we will assess alignment between incoming families and Veritas School in four primary areas:

CHRISTIAN COMMITMENTS
At Veritas, we believe that everything that was, and is, and is to be, falls under the lordship of Jesus Christ. We approach every subject with the redeeming and reconciling person of Jesus Christ in mind. You will find that each Veritas classroom and every subject taught here integrates these beliefs and worldview into all aspects of learning.
It’s important that the families that make up Veritas School are connected to a local church home, known by their pastor, and attend and serve their local congregations regularly. To this end, Veritas requires a Pastoral Reference as part of the admissions process.
PARTNERS IN EDUCATION
Veritas School seeks strong cooperation with parents in the education of students. In order for a classical, Christ-centered education to work, there must be continuity between home and school. We seek to enroll families who are a good missional fit for Veritas and that Veritas will complement the important formation parents do at home.
The Veritas community thrives with robust parent involvement and volunteering. Parents serve as drivers for field trips, chaperones for overnight trips, volunteer recess aides, and support annual events like school picture day, field day, and teacher appreciation events. We ask that each household volunteer 40 hours per school year (roughly 5 hours per month).
In the admissions application, we will also ask that parents agree to support cheerful adherence to Veritas uniform guidelines and homework requirements.
JOY-FILLED RIGOR
A hallmark of the Veritas classroom is our "joy-filled rigor." We take seriously God’s call to love him with our minds as well as our hearts and strength. We hold high expectations for our students because we know what they are capable of, and the rigorous education they will receive at Veritas is strategically designed to prepare them for life as adults.
An excellent education should also be a joyful endeavor. Visitors are often delighted by the laughter and smiles in our classrooms, where students know they are deeply loved and cherished by our faculty and staff.
While our students build a strong academic foundation for higher education and the workforce, classroom achievement is not the ultimate measure of our success. Veritas aims to graduate faithful, gracious, mature, and responsible adults who are ready to thrive in any context for the glory of God.

Rooted in the Great Tradition, Veritas is just as invested in who our graduates become as what they know. Our educational philosophy and outcomes set us apart from conventional public or private schools. By introducing students to the very best that humanity has discovered, experienced, and created during our sojourn on earth, we shape students' minds, hearts, and lives through a relentless focus on whatever is good, true, and beautiful.
