At Veritas, our early education programs guide our youngest scholars through the monumental transition of "learning how to learn." Veritas School provides a loving, structured environment for four- and five-year-olds that fosters growth while laying the groundwork for their entire academic future and nurtures the scholar within.

Veritas School's Early Education Programs

  • Kindergarten: A half-day program for students who turn five by September 28th.

  • Afternoon Enrichment Program (AEP): For Kindergarten students who wish to stay all day and for students who turn four by September 28th. AEP is Veritas’ Pre-K option.

While Kindergarteners focus on core academics in the morning, they may stay for an optional afternoon of AEP, where they are joined by our 4-year-old students. This combined afternoon is filled with music, play, and activities designed to reinforce morning lessons. By learning alongside their older peers, AEP students enjoy a robust curriculum focused on true Kindergarten readiness.

Why Only Half-day Programming?

Veritas is a school, not a childcare provider. We believe that at age four, a child’s capacity and attention span are best served by a focused, intentional window of learning rather than a full day of institutional care. Our AEP students enter Kindergarten with confidence, already familiar with our campus, routines, and classical, Christ-centered philosophy.

Benefits of AEP at 4 Years Old:

Our AEP students enter Kindergarten with confidence, already familiar with our campus, routines, and classical, Christ-centered philosophy. They have made friends. They know how to walk in a line, have learned their phonograms, and developed their number sense and confidence. After a year of afternoon programming, our AEP students are prepared to enter Kindergarten with confidence!

Veritas Classrooms are Screen Free

Veritas School maintains a strict screen-free policy. Classrooms are analog, fostering a calm environment focused on learning and relationships. In our screen-free classrooms, students' focus, curiosity, wonder, and learning thrive.
